Golden Monkey Tracking Uganda Safari :Spend a trek of about 2 hours through the former farmland to the bamboo forest. Day 1: Transfer to Kisoro City, an 8 hours Drive
You will be picked up after your breakfast and have a briefing before your 8hrs journey to Kisoro. We shall have a stopover at the Uganda Equator for photographs in Masaka town and then continue to Mbarara City for lunch, Mbarara City is a town referred to as the land of milk, you will be shown a school of Long horned cattle along the western plains. Be welcomed to Kisoro City the largest town in the Kigezi sub-region, marking its position in east of Rumangabo and the Virunga Mountains in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Day 2: Transfer to Ntebeko gate, Mgahinga Mountain Hiking
You will be picked from your accommodation after your breakfast, to the main Ntebeko gate where your adventure starts. Our trek will start at 7:00am as you ascend the mountain through the magnificent pure bamboo forest. Be keen not to miss the various bird species and animals like the rare golden monkey. Trek through the ericaceous belt as you reach the top of the mountain where you find the swampy crater that was once a lake due to climatic changes as guided by our trusted and responsible tour company. Expect to be be thrilled by the sight of the other mountain peaks close by plus the swamps and saddles between the mountains that retain water all through the year. The trek takes a full day.
Day 3: Head Back to Kampala, Place of Pick Up
After your memorable Safari, Early morning, Wake up on the echoing sweet bird songs in the adjacent forests, feel the lige giving sun light rays early morning as you prepare to get enrouted back to the place of Pick up or back to Kampala City after your breakfast from the hotel.
