Day 1: Pick up from the Kigali Airport/ Hotel
Our guide/driver will pick you up from your hotel or airport depending on your arrival time and drive you to the eastern part of Rwanda. From here, you will arrive at Akagera national park and prepare for an evening game drive.
Day 2: Game drives in Akagera National Park
Wake up early morning, have a heavy breakfast and geat ready for the drive. Remember to pack your lunch and bottles of water. Then, drive north of Mutumba hills where herds of animals are located and have an encounter to see animals which are active in the morning .
Also, spot out the ones you could have missed out during your evening game drive like the spotted hyenas going back to their dens ,hippos’ going back to the water bodies. This experience in the wildness takes about 3hours and later shall eturn to the lodge for lunch and prepare for an afternoon boat cruise at lake Ihema with an experienced game ranger.
Later, have great views of Tanzania and a number of animals including hippos, crocodiles and many more, you will also spot out different bird species on the lake. Day 3: Retire back from 3 Days Akagera Safari
Wake up and have a heavy break first, check out at the lodge and have another short tour in Kigali city, a city known to be organized and clean country in Africa. The short tour includes a visit to the genocide of 1994 which occurred all over the country, visit to the memorial is for most visitors on emotional event. After the City Tour our guide will drive you back to the hotel or airport for your departure.
